Watercraft Cancellation Policy
Our pontoon rental season is very short—typically only about eight weeks—and availability is very limited.
When you reserve a pontoon, we hold it exclusively for you and may turn away other guests who would have booked that date. For this reason, all pontoon rental deposits are non-refundable once a reservation has been booked.
Cooler temperatures, cloudy skies, light rain, or a change in the weather forecast do not qualify for a refund or cancellation.
If lightning, high winds, or other conditions make it unsafe to operate the pontoon, Lac La Peche Resort staff will determine whether the rental must be postponed. If resort staff determine that conditions are unsafe, the deposit may be transferred to an available mid-week date or another available date later in the same season.
All weather-related decisions are made by Lac La Peche Resort staff based on actual and anticipated lake conditions.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our small, family-owned and operated resort.

Pet Policy
We love animals and understand that pets are valued members of the family.
However, because we have limited staff and very little time between guests, we are not equipped to manage extensive pet-related cleaning or repairs.
To protect our cabins and keep them comfortable for guests with allergies, we can accommodate only small, non-shedding dogs—and only in Cabin 5. This restriction also applies to pets brought by visitors.
Thank you for helping us keep our cabins clean, comfortable, and available for everyone.
Dog Policy
-
Small, well-trained, non-shedding dogs weighing under 20 lb are welcome in Cabin 5 only. A fee of $75 per pet, per stay applies. Dogs must remain off all furniture.
-
Cats and other animals are not permitted.
-
Dogs must remain on a leash at all times while on resort property. Owners must promptly pick up and properly dispose of their dog’s waste.
-
Dogs that do not meet our size and non-shedding requirements will not be permitted to stay. If alternative arrangements cannot be made for the dog, guests will forfeit their reservation and no refund will be issued.
-
Dogs brought by visitors must also meet our size and non-shedding requirements. They must remain outdoors and on a leash at all times and are not permitted inside any cabin for any reason.
-
Registered guests are responsible for their visitors and their visitors’ dogs. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged if a visitor’s dog enters a cabin.
-
Dogs are permitted only in Cabin 5, allowing us to keep our other cabins pet-free for guests with allergies.
